Many people have misunderstood the meaning of Satanism. When they hear the word "Satan", somehow their minds creates an image associated with the devil with horns and tails, wearing red tights (ooo....sexy eh?) carrying a pitchfork, spitting fire and brimstones.. Thanks to Hollywood ! haaa. Most people just refuse to take a second look as they judge it from the beginning. I do disagree with some of its contents but I figured that most people in this century are living by the rules of Satanism unconsciously. To me, Satanism is not a religion, and never will be. It's merely a set of philosophies where you live by. So what lies behind the meaning of Satanism? I shalt discuss that in this section.
So who are the Satanists? Satanists do not believe in Satan. On the other hand,
Satanists do believe in Satan. It depends on what you mean by "believe in" and
what you mean by "Satan."
Do they believe in a funny-looking creature in red tights with horns and a tail? No.
Neither do they believe in the literalist Christian lie that He is a former angel of
Jehovah thrown out of Heaven for being too uppity. (umm...point to ponder, why is Satan
(in Christian context) always get the blame for all the impurities like the seven
sins....lust...greed...blah blah? I dun see anything holy of the people who died under the
name of GOD, or do they deserve to die?. I dun hear "wrath of Satan", or "Satan
will punish you", or someone died and they say "It's Satan's will") Could GOD/SATAN
be the same spiritual entity ?
What they believe in is a Satan that represents the so-called "dark side" of
humanity. He represents selfishness, anger, lust, hatred, pride and all the allegedly
negative emotions. He represents getting whatever you want. He is not "real," in
the sense that you and I are real, or the President is real, or the shopkeeper around the
corner is real. What He represents is very real, however.
They do not believe in Him the way that Christians believe in their pathetic deity. I do
not worship the Dark Lord, nor do they look to Him for a diabolic stamp of approval on the
way they live their life. They are the only being whose opinion ultimately matters. They
are Satanists because it pleases them to be so, not because they have been threatened or
coerced or deluded into the religion.
Satan is as real as they are . What I mean by this is that insofar as I manifest the
Satanic ethos, Satan becomes real through me. I am, at my best (worst?), the incarnation
of Satan Himself.
What is the Satanic ethos? At its simplest, it is pure egoism: total and exclusive concern
for myself. I am nice to other people on occasion because I want to be, not because
someone is telling me that I "should." I could just as easily be cruel to them,
with just as much moral foundation -- I was cruel to them because I *wanted* to be cruel
to them.
Satan is real because I am real, and we are one. His empire is my empire and it grows
daily, giving us greater power and influence. The only "worship" that I do
involves pleasing myself by doing whatever I want to do.
THE 9 SATANIC STATEMENTS
To start off, lemme give ya an insight of what Satanism advocates. The Christians have their 10 commandments, so do Satanists who have their 9 satanic statements .They are as follows :
(1) Satan represents indulgence, instead of abstinence!
(2) Satan represents vital existence, instead of spiritual pipe dreams!
(3) Satan represents undefiled wisdom, instead of hypocritical self-deceit!
(4) Satan represents kindness to those who deserve it, instead of love wasted on ingrates!
(5) Satan represents vengeance, instead of turning the other cheek!
(6) Satan represents responsibility for the responsible, instead of concern for psychic
vampires!
(7) Satan represents man as just another animal, sometimes better more often worse than
those that walk on all fours, who, because of his "divine and intellectual
development" has become the most vicious animal of them all!
(8) Satan represents all of the so-called sins, as they lead to physical,mental, or
emotional gratification!
(9) Satan has been the best friend that the church has ever had, as he has kept it in
business all of these years!
The next statements, "The Eleven Satanic Rules of the Earth" (copyright
1967), were written at about the same time, but were then considered too frank and brutal
for general release and issued only to the membership. Here is the "Lex
Satanicus," a law of the jungle for social interaction: The wordings in white are
just some of my comments on the rules.
1. Do not give opinions or advice unless you are asked.
There was a saying something like "The wise dun need no
advice and the fool dun heed the advice". People have minds of their own, unless they
are really desperate and cannot think, a little advice or two will not hurt. When someone
comes right up to ya and tell ya his/her troubles and asked ya what should he/she do,tell
yourself that he/she already knows what exactly to do at the back of his/her head or their
subconscious. They just want a listening ear, that's all. Behaving like an Aunt agony or
something or thinking that they heed your advises makes ya achieves something, will
only make a fool outta yourself.
2. Do not tell your troubles to others unless you are sure they want to hear them.
I know what this is going on. Who the hell will wanna hear your
sorrows and spoil their day? I dun deny that really good friends do that and it's really
hard to find these days. But dun keep all the troubles to heart though, it ain't healthy.
3. When in another's lair, show him respect or else do not go there.
He knows his territory well and he's in control. In business
terms, this means that respecting people's culture and behavior when you are in a
different country. International managers take note of this.
4. If a guest in your lair annoys you, treat him cruelly and without mercy.
Cruelty ? Does not mean using physical violence or anything of
that sort. There are many other things you can do to annoy that
person.....like...errr...telling people he ain't wearing no underwear..or...he had onions
for dinner.
5. Do not make sexual advances unless you are given the mating signal.
So what is the mating signal? Basing on your instinct? Or the
seduction signals the other party is sending out. I dun quite understand this.
ummm.....this means respecting the opposite sex?
6. Do not take that which does not belong to you unless it is a burden to the other person
and he cries out to be relieved.
Against theft? Based on your own talents and strength to obtain
whatever you desire. Using despicable means will only backfires.
7. Acknowledge the power of magic if you have employed it successfully to obtain your
desires. If you deny the power of magic after having called upon it with success, you will
lose all you have obtained.
Make use of what is given to us since birth. Natural magick....
8. Do not complain about anything to which you need not subject yourself.
......complains......
9. Do not harm little children.
Against child abuse?
10. Do not kill non-human animals unless you are attacked or for your food.
A pretty good excuse to kill animals though. This sure is against the teachings of Buddhism. If you dun annoy the animals, they will not bother ya. Some time ago, a fren told me he's charmed by this gal who made a comment. She was telling him a scenario about a mother and a child. The child was disturbing a cat with a stick. The mother hurled at the kid "Stop that!! or the cat will bite you"
So what's with that statement the mother made? I figured that
she's teaching the wrong stuff to the kid. If the kid leave the cat in peace, will the cat
bite him? Cause and effect theory.
11. When walking in open territory, bother no one. If someone bothers you, ask him to
stop. If he does not stop, destroy him.

P.S. I have read the satanic bible and I find some contents are quite annoying and disturbing. Some philosophies contradicts my own beliefs. One gotta be strong in their mind and faith in themselves or you will be influenced easily. On the other hand, some points really sounds cool. yea...it's cool to be a gangsta.
